About the Project
Supported by the European Union within the scope of the Hrant Dink Foundation Grant Scheme, "Women and Climate Project / KAD.İM" that we initiated as the Prosumer Economy Society in partnership with the Kazdağı Association for the Preservation of Natural and Cultural Resources aims to share with the whole world how communities relying on the efforts of women struggle with climate and biodiversity crises; to make this struggle to be understood by everyone by gathering those groups who are struggling and pave the way for overcoming difficulties with solidarity; to ensure that the economic activities of those groups are supported; to make this struggle visible with a documentary film and to create resources to contemporary discussions and studies to be carried on in this area with the publication of an academic-scientific article.
Essentially, the purpose of the project is to ensure that women in various areas of production in different regions of Turkey who are struggling against climate and biodiversity crises, become visible and are included in social and economic life. Also, to empower women's organizations to deal with the struggle against climate and biodiversity crises with their reparative activities and raise the issue of gender mainstreaming in parallel with ecological struggle and advocacy.

While supporting the solidarity and gathering of women communities whose precedents have been set by women's organizations in which ecology and economy support each other, and proceed in the same direction, it will pave the way for achieving public solutions by highlighting the current crises and will empower the communities by expanding awareness in such a way that ecological and social transformation is plausible.

About Network
Through the network to be created with KAD.İM Project, the objective is to ensure solidarity and information sharing by empowering the bond between producers. Thanks to this network which will form a basis for bringing together KAD.İM communities and prosumers, we will be sharing inspirational stories of women producing in this area and struggling against climate and biodiversity crises, as well as examples from all over the world.
